Meet "Wrinkle"

This sweet little girls name is "Nhan", which means 'wrinkle' in Vietnamese. She received her first lot of vaccinations today and was super brave! Although same can't be said for her reaction to getting frontline sprayed! It's rather unusual for us to see puppies or adult dogs of particular breeds. Almost all our patients are x-breeds with the odd German Shepherd X, so it's very unusual to see a Shar Pei puppy in our little village.

"But", the dog with suspected tetanus is still with us. She's been put on a drip and we've managed to find some anti-tetanus toxoid from a local hospital which we hope will work, as her symptoms are currently quite localised and seems to be in the early stages. We still aren't 100% sure what she has but treating her for tetanus isn't going to harm her and it's better than waiting til it's too late. Her family is currently visiting her as I type which is really really lovely. We don't get many of our workers that come by and visit their pets whilst they are in hospital. She is definitely a loved pet, and I do so hope she pulls through.
