MonoMonday: New Year, New Shoes

We've had a rather lazy day: just a bit of a walk and shopping this morning. This afternoon I fitted the winter "hedgehog" wheels on my golf trolley to cope with muddy conditions and, when I saw the stimulus for today's challenge, I thought the patterns and textures on my new golf shoes would make a suitable subject: I suspect that neither wheels nor shoes will get any use in the next few weeks following Boris's imminent announcement.
