Wet again

There was more rain today but I managed to get out in a dryish period For a breath of fresh air. I returned to where I had disturbed the owl yesterday, on the off-chance that it might have returned to a familiar roost, but it wasn't there. While I was in the area, I checked the little reservoir which is our water supply and there certainly seems to be plenty of water to keep us going for a while. Later, N and I played a game of chess for the first time in about twenty years and we both really enjoyed the challenge.
