BOXNG DAY BREAKFAST

Another lazy day for me.  It began with a breakfast of cherry jam and Irish soda bread.  Yummy.

Neil went for  for a gentle 3 mile run this morning wearing his new shoes.  Around 11am his friend W called for him and they went off to spend some time together.  W is a taxi driver so Neil wore his mask and sat in the back seat behind the screen.  They went to Ws house and had a nice long country walk .  Neil arrived home around 3pm.

Around 7.30pm my brother C phoned.  He was Ok.  Just had a quiet Christmas by himself but he's used to being on his own so Christmas was no different.

Another Newcastle match this evening.  They were playing away against Manchester City.  Kick off 8pm.  I expected Newcastle to lose - and they did.  Score was 2 - 0. I did think Man City might have scored more.  Newcastle actually played better than I thought they would.

The weather today has been mostly dull and very windy. This evening we have had heavy rain.
