Card...

Oh dear! After I published all the below, I realised that this is a milestone blip! (Clever me, to have that happen on a day when photography was the last thing on my mind!). I’m too late to change it now, as it’s almost midnight, so I’ll stop while I’m already not winning. I have been a member for years here, and the gaps in my journal do not reflect any lack of enthusiasm for the lovely community here, or photography, (though, these days, I do often resort to the somewhat lazier ‘phone option despite my best intentions).

I received this masterpiece today. Is it possible to beat a handmade card, which tells a personal story (don’t ask what personal story this one tells!)?

If there is one thing we can thank Lockdown for it’s the unleashing of joyous hidden talents.

Merry Christmas One and All!
I’m sneaking in just under the deadline - again (and still not caught up with comments I’m afraid).

What a peculiar Christmas Day.
It’s been very pleasant, just not quite ‘Christmas’. Except, we had snow, which was very welcome though there wasn’t enough to go and roll in or anything. (Which is what I usually do, obvs).
I don’t know why I’m so tired - I’ll put it down to all the catering (and phone calls we had to take, in lieu of not seeing anyone). Why is that so tiring? (It can’t be all the extra food we’re digesting, surely?).
