Beat him at last

Passed so many more runners out this morning, perhaps it was the nice weather or the fact we normally run on a Tuesday. Finished wrapping hubby’s presents and did the ironing. A few jobs around the house and feels like we are ready for Christmas, don’t know why I bothered cleaning as nobody coming.
Felt very pleased with myself as I actually won a game of chess this afternoon, now it’s packed away until after Christmas as it has been sat on dinning room table.
Hubby came for a walk with me after dusk to see all the lights people have put up this year as every evening I tell him about new ones.
I was sat ironing in the bedroom and Hetty must have crept in and onto the bed, she is not supposed to get on the bed, and looked so comfy she made me smile.
Looking forward to watching All creatures great and small at 9 tonight.
