What a mess

this country is in. Listening to the radio this morning was quite depressing. The one in the bedroom just wouldn’t tune in to radio 2 so I had on radio 4. Drove to Sainsbury’s so managed a short session with Zoe Ball and that cheered me up, specially as Sir Paul was on.
Shopping done and home just before Amazon delivery arrived.
Baked two batches of biscotti this afternoon and then went for a walk with Hetty.
Video call with brother this evening, we usually spend New Year at the cottage and my brother and sister in law stay with us but not this year.
Thought it was a bit odd at Sainsbury’s they didn’t have any mandarins or tangerines but they did have easy peels with leaves, which always look nice in a bowl.
Still next week they will probably only have apples.
