Hats on

The hats go on the teddies when the Christmas decorations go up and come off when it’s all put away. Not just these four but about a dozen of them.
I don’t know why but I like the house to feel fresh and clean and tidy for Christmas so general jobs around the house and change bedding done. Amazon parcel returned via a store five minutes drive away, would have walked but large box and heavy rain. Stollen doing last proving when the mobile started dinging, gardens flooding further up the street. It took 30 minutes before ours was over the base of the birdbath so time for wellies from the garage and extension lead for the fridge incase the power at the back of the house went off. At the point where the water flowed past the front door is usually when the power goes, it didn’t so the work hubby did to move the circuit box up higher worked.
Went for a walk in the rain with daughter and Hetty but her dog refused to come out.
Rain stopped and water level reduced so just a big puddle where the garden was.
Stollen all done and ready for tomorrow.
