Works Do & Raffle Day

I was up and over to the Rugby Club early Christmas Lunch in the oven and a chance to relax over a coffee. Sat in the conservatory with my coffee enjoying the weak sunshine whilst watching the ever growing queue at the Covid testing queue I had an hour or so to contemplate what a year this has been but decided to flop back and enjoy the day.
Great meal, roast Prawn Platter starters, roast Turkey & Gammon, Christmas Pudding, cheese & biscuits with port and mince pies with Baileys coffees. Lots of red wine, lots of beer and great company all spread over nine hours.

Meanwhile a mile or so away the RNA Christmas Raffle was being drawn and I did quite well, new pod coffee machine, couple of bags of local beer, and two really nice local pottery dishes.

All in all a good day.
