Admiring the view

Thank you for all the comments for my Lake District Adventures.

Today turned out much better than expected. We decided on a walk up Latrigg and very pleased we did. The light kept changing all the way up.

I particularly liked this view of Derwent Water with Jet (who is 12years old and still going strong) and Richard admiring the view. As we descended towards Threlkeld wisps of mist crossed our path adding to the atmosphere. We then dropped down onto the new Threlkeld to Keswick railway path. We admired the bridges and newly refurbished tunnel. It was very busy with bikers, runners and walkers. Although some people’s idea of social distancing left a lot to be desired.... Richard was not impressed. However it was a very easy route back to Keswick.

We finished with the sun shining. Even had time to do a bit of Christmas shopping!
