Fun Despite the rain.

Thank you for the response to yesterday’s Robin photo. Decided on a low level run round Friars Crag this morning. I don’t often get out before breakfast but glad I did before heavy showers arrived.

We drove to Ambleside to pick up an open water dry bag cum float for my youngest son. We were going to have a walk on Loughrigg but the rain put paid to that. Instead we came back for lunch and a cuppa before taking Jet for a walk by Derwent Water.

You could see the showers heading your way down Derwent Water. Obscuring the mountains as they progressed. Rather liked the seagulls occupying the posts of the jetty.

Pleased we made the effort it would have been very easy to curl up with a good book.
