It's That Sort of Day

Another rainy, grey and bleak day, dark enough to keep the lights on even at noon.
So tiring.
The only ones (in this house) with any surplus energy are Chaiyya and Rani, but even our playful kittens slept a lot today.

The extra shows our neighbours' cat Baloo, who came inside for a short visit this morning. He had been sitting at our terrace doors, dripping wet. Out of pity, I rubbed him dry with an old towel, but after he went outside again, he immediately fell over and wanted to be stroked - lying in a puddle...
