Surface Tension

Subtle cloud reflections on the dead still water after the direct light had gone left a surface so taut I felt it might recoil if I bounced something on it. I liked the contrast from textured to smooth. The shape of the log reminded me of a propeller.

Extra: Creeping Shadow. As the sun set, the shadow slowly snuffed out the last patches of warm light.
