Warm Ice

After yesterday's wind and wave action, temperatures dropped and my excursion to the shoreline took me by surprise when I found the rocks covered in ice. I was excited to search for little ice sculptures to photograph, but compositions were difficult to come by. The sun was strong and low, picking out rocks and ice formations here and there.

I liked this arrangement of warm rocks and cool ice, with the water gently lapping in the background.

Extra: Cold Flow. The movement in this one interested me, contrasting with the static ice and rock.
