Pearl Drops

A warm sun low in the sky cast an orange glow over the lake shore catching high spots on the rocks giving them form. Tucked away out of the glare a few remaining mini icicles hang from a reed lodged in the crevices. Ice along the water's edge has mostly disappeared now.

I like the patches of warm light on the rocks and the raking light the brings out their texture. I tried a little bit of dodging and burning to emphasize the roundness of the rocks.
