Candle Snuff Fungus
This morning I went to the Queen's Head nature reserve for a walk around. There were the usual woodland birds around but not close enough for a decent photo. It's always good to see them in their proper habitat rather than at the feeders in the garden.
My blip is candle Snuff Fungus, so named as it looks like a candle wick. I always think that it looks more like antlers though. It's found on rotting wood so very common in woodlands.
