Team work..

I admit to doing a fair bit of “snooping” this week. Not in a bad way, just observational...

This afternoon I watched the team work between our neighbour and his navvy. I admire all skills I don’t have and am fascinated to watch and learn. This navvy knew instinctively when to move bricks and when to mix and where my to put cement piles. Little communication needed. They really have been thwarted by the weather this week but have made great progress today. When I saw him later in the afternoon I told him how fascinated I’d been. I only hope I didn’t insult him.

I took Jenny’s bolster cushion back to her this morning. Fortunately she was very pleased with it. I was concerned as I had used my machine on it a fair bit and was really no longer purely hand stitched.
