I hadn’t taken any photos today. The porch light was still on as I came up to bed just now, so this is it. A newly painted front door still without the letterbox cover, and shelves with nothing on...

I’ve been in the kitchen most of the day, (slaving over a hot stove...) and it’s been ok! Too much washing up to all fit in the dishwasher and sometimes the worktop has been too covered to see the wood from the trees, but one new thing.. the shortbread has turned out ok.

A phone call with Gail who is now a grandmother! Hopefully she will see her granddaughter before she moves to the Isle of Man any day soon.
