Trees

I have been reading a book called 'Sixteen Trees on the Somme.' Which we discussed on our ZOOM Book Club this morning. It is a fascinating story about an inheritance of trees left to a young Norwegian boy, and it is all about his search to find them and what they represent. Basically it is a detective story and he travels from Norway to Shetland, to London and to France. This little clump of trees reminded me of the story. They would have been much older, of course .
