Apple tree

We planted two apple trees when we moved into this house in1972!! One died about ten years ago, and we planted a clematis to climb over the stump - but this one just grew and grew!! I blipped it in blossom this year - but it has really got out of hand.
We saw there were tree surgeons working in another garden down the road - so J asked for an estimate to trim it. They offered to do it immediately they had finished - and the decision was made! It was a fairly dramatic trim....
