Sun spot!
We hit the spot this morning when the sun made it’s appearance. It was just emerging from the clouds as we left the house. A short walk around Goit Stock and back via Leech Lane actually took nearly two hours because if all the stops we made to chat to villagers we know.
It was very warm too so pleasant to be out enjoying the remaining Autumn colours, This path climbs up from the Goit Stock caravan park to Leech Lane. At the top we passed the Hunters Hill development and there was a box of cooking apples out for people to help them selves, perfect for using up the blackberries in the freezer.
We stopped briefly at my son’s house in the village to prune his rose and tidy up his wall.
As we returned to our estate it had clouded over again and there was just a hint of dampness in the air so perfect timing.
Crazy to see we were in London a year ago, enjoying theatre, museums and eating out! Who’d have thought there would be anything amazing about that!
Grace took Eda to nursery this morning with Jude in the sling. She seems to have turned a corner and now she is focusing she is much more content when awake.. The extras were sent via What’s app after she got back home. Bright as a button!
