Fleece on the shearing board

A few Quite a few years ago, we had a couple of hundred Ewes on the hill block of the farm. In those days, we had a shearing gang come in, who would spend the day shearing our sheep. We would normally supply morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch - it was a big day.

Now days we only have 11 sheep, so having them shawn takes no longer than 30 minutes. A couple of men, who belong to the Murchison Golden Oldies, come in and shear them.

I liked this photo of the wool on the shearing board with the sunlight shining through the window, and the dark background.
