Flight path closed due to fog

We woke this morning to very thick fog, which usually means that once it has cleared, it is going to be a very hot day.

I took this photo from our house, about 7.15am this morning. I loved the two birds sitting on top of the bird box, and another on the fence. Perhaps the fog is too thick for them to fly - who knows?

Have a busy day ahead of me today. The boys have just gone to school, so I have six hours to clean the house, pay the bills for the farm, and then make lots of tomato soup for winter. Somewhere in between I hope to go for a bike ride, but we will see how much time I have left before the boys come home from school.
