Bitch, Complain, Waaaa!
We walked into town this morning for breakfast at John Street Cafe and sat in the patio. The cafe is always good, and we were ever so happy it was open, but we sat there waiting quite a while for service; I know it isn't easy for restaurants to adapt and survive during these covid times, "But," we groused to each other, "why not at least have the coffee served right away!" Seriously, we'd happily sit and wait if we had a cup of hot coffee it hold, or even just acknowledgement that we are still waiting. And then to have those who arrived after you get served before you! Just makes you want to stand up, stamp your foot, and yell, "I was here first!". You feel like an unhappy 2-year-old, all the while knowing you are suffering something pretty darn inconsequential. Complaints over.
We noticed new decals on the sidewalks: see the Extra, and take the survey yourself, if it applies.
Life at this fever pitch is getting hard. Let's get this damned election over.
Good luck, America.
