Pugnacious... Not!
He's actually one of the softest, gentlest natured dogs I've ever met. Apart from the fact he thinks he's a cat of course, he lived with two for his first two years! H6
"Twas on a Wednesday morning when the gasman came to call" ... you may remember last month when the gas engineer sent us a message saying as we hadn't been expecting him when he turned up he had cancelled the appointment to service our heating.... you can still see the steam coming out of my ears (rather than the wall vent) when I think about it! Today was the rearranged appointment and all is now running smoothly. No cup of coffee allowed though and I'm not allowed to sign his piece of paper.... really....!
Met my target and got my magazine article done and also spoke to the new editor, she's doing a great job so that's one thing off my list at least. Tomorrow or the next day I want to tackle the members data base. That will take longer.
This afternoon I went to visit Ali and we had a physically distanced take away coffee in her garden as neither of us fancied actually going and sitting in a cafe. Marvin as usual wouldn't be separated from her. I love this picture of them both looking very reflective.
Dinner was easy tonight as we had some of the beef stew I made the other day. Fingers crossed that I sleep tonight. I'm going to have my dressing removed and stitches out tomorrow morning so I'll have a first look at my face post-surgery. I have to say it's been completely trouble free and painless up until now.
More restrictions, but from what I could make of the figures the numbers are beginning to go down slowly.
Keep safe everybody. Space and masks basically and hand washing of course.
