Sally Mair - Loving life

Shield bug

I'm not sure what variety it is as it was on neither hawthorn nor birch but our east facing wall. It's been around for a week or so now.
Another quiet day, its starting to get boring I realise I'm saying that a lot. I just wish I could find my get up and go a bit.
We had a Crombie's Auld Reekie sausage casserole for dinner tonight, I bought them when I was bringing the car back the other day. Took Colin down to a nearby chemist for his flu jab, so we are both now 'done'. I wish they'd find a vaccine for the other beast too! On the way back we dropped off a couple of charity shop purchases for the girls. Eilidh is fed up as she is sick on the house as she still has to isolate and this is her school holiday week. She should be free after Thursday thank goodness. I could do with a granddaughter cuddle even if I can't have a daughter one!
Bridge this evening was a bit mixed as the Internet kept playing up. It's very frustrating when technology doesn't behave itself.
My target tomorrow is to get my magazine article written!

Steps today too pathetic to mention.

Keep safe and well everybody. It looks like the Edinburgh numbers are starting to move downwards again. I do hope that continues.
