Broken

Slept ok, awake earlyish though......a few mundane things to sort today.

Grocery shopping first, then back home to put it all away.....a walk, which is when I spotted
this little fluffy tail. No sooner had I got my phone out and taken this shot, another one appeared, they darted up into the tree, a lot of commotion and some funny noises, think it might have been fistycuffs :-0

We had a walk and called in for a coffee before heading back home for lunch. Turkey & cranberry sandwich for hub, I had a stuffed pitta and a cuppa soup, didnt enjoy it at all :-/

Then I spent an hour making a Spanish style pork stew, using the leftover pork from yesterday, with chick peas, tomatoes, onions, carrots, paprika, garlic, chilli, thyme & chicken stock.....turned out pretty well :-) Meals x2 now in the freezer.

Then we were off to our GP surgery for our flu jabs.....took all of 5 minutes, back home again within 20 minutes! Hub was most unimpressed to learn that his 65+ vaccine had 3 strains, whereas my -65 has 4 strains apparently!

A cuppa and an apple whilst we watched "a place in the sun" not sure its the best thing to do when youre down a out not going on holiday, amongst other things!! :-/

Made prawn and smoked salmon linguine for dinner.....was ok, but didnt quite hit the spot somehow. Dessert was better, fresh figs & walnuts warmed & coated in melted butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla and balsamic, topped with a dollop of lemon yoghurt ;-)

We finally got around to watching Rennee Zellwenger as Judy tonight, she was really good in it! Such a sad life she had :-( That didnt do much to improve the frame of mind either :-/

Also just watched the first episode of a Belgian drama called Twelve, about a jury in a murder case, looks promising!

Well thats the extent of my exciting day ;-)
