Irresistible!

After days and days of clouds and dull light, the sunshine today brought welcome shadows, like these of winter-bare tree trees against the front side of Cafe Akroteri.

My son, W, came up from Seattle this morning for a dentist appointment, and while that was underway, I wandered around downtown Bellingham, popping into shops and taking photos of shadows. We had a delicious long lunch at the Ciao Thyme Cafe -- talking about food, of course -- before he caught the bus back home.
