Substitution

Today is the monthly winter farmers' market, rich in photographic possibilities, but alas, I'm not there, having succumbed to a headache, sore throat, and chills.

Fortunately, an agile squirrel decided to practice its climbing skills on one of the posts supporting our deck while I was inside by the sliding door that leads onto our patio, trying -- unsuccessfully -- to photograph some of the birds swooping and darting around our back yard/garden.

Next week is particularly busy, so it behooves me to nip this indisposition in the bud!
