New keys

This is a new one on us - got given the keys to the new house a day early. In fact - we didn't even get given them, we were asked to collect them from the house itself! Gave us the code for the box and everything.

The house closes tomorrow morning and we already have the fence guy ready to pounce on the property the moment the ink dries.

We've waited 11 months for this property, narrowly beating the previous one at 10 months. Short sales can take some time it has to be said. Not particularly impressed with the closing company as they were still finding liens on the property earlier this week as they hadn't bothered running a title search up front. That lack of due care cost the seller $2,500 in cold hard cash.

Neighbours seem nice.
