Waiting patiently

This morning we had arranged to meet 'Bertie the Beardie' at the entrance to the Hermitage at 8.15am so that we could go on a big long walk together. Here I am sitting patiently on the bridge waiting for him. His owner had over slept so he was a little bit late, but that didn't matter because I met a really friendly golden retriever that I played with until Bertie arrived.

I had a lovely walk with Bertie. He was in super playful mode today and we walked for about 3 hours. I was hoping that after our walk Bertie would come back to my house so the humans could have a coffee and bacon roll we could have breakfast together, but that's against the rules so we didn't. Grrrrrrrr.......................

Anyway, walking for three hours before breakfast made us very tired so we both had to have a snooze when we got home.

And that's as exciting as it's got today!
