R and R

Today we headed into Alnwick. We were there quite early in the hope we would miss the forecast rain. We enjoyed a wander around the town and there may have been some shopping. I bought some Hotspur Gin, distilled locally.  Our last stop was Barter Books, where we enjoyed lunch and unsurprisingly picked up some books. By the time it started to rain heavily we were on our way back to Amble. Tried the gin this evening. Can highly recommend.
