Jervaulx Abbey

We headed home today, a slightly different route as someone had recommended Jervaulx Abbey. The tea rooms were closed but nevertheless the Abbey was well worth the visit. There was something very peaceful about it. The last bit of the journey once off the motorway was slow, mostly down to the queues for petrol stations blocking the through traffic….
