Rain and Ruins

Togged up in wet weather gear we set off for a circular walk from Craster via Dunstanburgh Castle. And whilst the sun didn't come out, it didn't rain too much and we were able to enjoy a bracing walk.  We also enjoyed a delicious late lunch at The Jolly Fisherman. We finished the day trip off by finding a WW2 pillbox near Druridge Bay. We actually saw about 5 during the walk but this one was special as it has just been given listed status.
The Extra is part of an old castle gate as we approached Craster.
