Cygnet

We had to go to Great Wakering today to get some bunny supplies so on the way back we stopped off at Shoebury Garrison, as there'd been kingfisher sightings in the past couple of weeks so I was hoping to catch a glimpse! Nothing!! Very disappointing! But we did see a lovely swan pair with a cygnet, some gorgeous autumn colours in the trees and we stocked up on a ton of conkers! Couldn't believe how many we spotted - very disappointed in the youth of today if they're not out there collecting them all up!
