Trachy blocked off!

Rafi has spent the day with his tracheostomy tube sealed with tape. He has coped well and all being well the tube will be removed tomorrow! Woo Hooo
Unfortunately the bladder infection is still causing him pain as they have found out today he needed a different antibiotic, hopefully this will soon start working.
Kiera has bought a 'Congratulations' banner, balloons and party hats ready for the 'Goodbye Trachy' party. I can't wait, no more suctioning, hopefully his cough will improve without the tube in his windpipe and we will be able to take him for short trips outside!
It's the most exciting event since all this started ( Apart from perhaps when he began breathing for himself)
