Day 4

The longest walking day which involved walking through Storm Francis!
We walked from Lochmaben to Ecclefechan.
So yes we walked 16 miles, came across a blocked path which we needed to detour round and got completely soaked. We sheltered in a barn at lunchtime where I changed my clothes which helped a little.
The hotel were great when we arrived and took all our clothes away to dry them.  We really enjoyed the comfort of a hotel that night!
