Day 5

A shorter day again which took us to the finish of the walk on the Solway Firth close to Annan.  This is the inscription that marks the end of the walk, I have added a few extras.
  The last day showed how much rain had fallen the day before as we splashed through flooded paths, and walked alongside a river in spate.
It was great to have arrived safely, and really what a wonderful path the Annandale Way is!
