Da Kelpies

A cooler day, mostly overcast, and then the rain started, rained most of the day.  It's been windy in places too.

Headed out after breakfast, but plans had to change.  Initially we were heading to Glasgow to see nieces, but unfortunately the city has gone into lockdown, and a no go area.  Headed north to Auchterarder, to see Celia.  There was various stops along the way.  Sadly I've missed various friends along the way, not knowing they lived close to hand, I must check this for another time.  A poor night of showers, but not planning on moving again.

One stop was in Falkirk.  We managed to see the Falkirk Wheel, and it in operation too.  What a fantastic piece of engineering.  Another stop was to see the Kelpies.  They are truly amazing, and so big.  The story of the Kelpies are very similar to our Shetland Njuggls, and the folklore probably comes from the same past.
