Flo on da Croft
A calm enough day, mostly cloudy, the odd shower, and then a sunny calm evening. So still out tonight.
Back to work in the museum, and the day started with a bunch of wirset women coming in to look at knitting and textiles. We later had a school visit too. Had tea, walked Sammy, and then rushed to the pub for my shift. A longer shift than usual, but a quiet night in the pub.
I nipped down the road at lunchtime, and bumped into a few friends. A good chat with Will and Jean Halcrow, and then also to Douglas and Iris Smith. Both couples were busy in the rigs working with hay, and getting it turned before the next spell of rain arrives. I had been trying to snap a photo of collie Flo, as she played in the hay, but she was too quick for me! Here's Flo, along with Iris and Douglas. Taken at Anness, Cunningsburgh.
