Two little corkers

Another pretty good nights sleep.....woke to glorious blue skies and sunhsine.

Sat in the back garden on our return from the papershop......with a coffee, reading, really lovely in the sunshine.

We had six lovely visitors today......youngest son, his wife with their nephew & neice, Padraig & Saiorse and our daughter with granddaughter Emily.

The little ones had been to see the swans & geese at Pennington Flash, which was really busy, but they enjoyed themselves and were treated to Macdonalds for lunch.

We all had BLTS whilst sat outside in the sun. Daughter & Emily had been school shoe shopping this morning, as Em is now in an adult size 4, they cost a fortune, but needs must. She is back at school Thursday. They headed back after an hour or so in time to meet up with Ems friend.

We played football, hoolahoop, statues and horsey, in the garden with Padraig, whilst Saoirse had a nap. Padraig the horsey in extras.

Once we had all said our goodbyes, we did a quick tidy round, put the toys away and I threw together a chicken chorizo and mushroom pasta bake for an easy dinner.

Its already turned chilly this evening, the fire is on.....my nose is getting cold, which is never a good sign lol ;-)

Just about to watch David Attenboroughs Planet Earth followed by Strike, which was really good last night :-)

A trip into Manchester tomorrow....hubs turn in the dentist chair......a little wander with my camera all being well :-)
