Black & White

......and every colour inbetween, thats Manchester and its definitely getting its buzz back :-))

Yet another good nights sleep..... we were breakfasted, ready and out the door for 10.30. In the car and off to Manchester for hubs 11.30 dentist appointment.

More traffic on the roads, more cars in the car park and more people walking around, but still quieter than "normal". Me and my camera headed to Castlefields Basin for a half an hour or so, see one in extras. Hub rang me when he was finished and we met up in Cafe Nero.....for a coffee, obviously ;-)

Afterwards we had a good ol wander around, saw a couple of police horses, no doubt on standby for Extinction Revolution protestors in Peters Square. Just a handful of people as far as we could tell........todays blip is the infamous Old Wellington Inn in the centre of the city. I liked the black and white & the guys mirrored stances in this image. I have added another view in extras, which is the more modern view directly to the right of the main blip. Some very contrasting buildings in Manchester, makes for good photography :-)

The weather has been absolutely lovely today, no need for a jacket.....lots of people sat outdoors, which is great to see after the last six months, everyone was abiding by the rules so felt entirely at ease.

We had a lovely leisurely lunch in Banyan, with a cold glass of Pinot......before heading back to the car in good time so as to avoid the rush hour traffic, such that it is.

Back home, we sat outside in the usnshine, finally finished book 2 of my trilogy ;-)

No dinner as such tonight, probably a cold platter of meats and cheeses eith a few crackers later ;-)

Tomorrows forecast is nothing like todays sadly :-(
