Keswick

We intended going to Tilburthwaite and walking up to the Cathedral cavern but the rain was so torrential when we got there we decided to drive on to Keswick and have a wander about there. It wasn’t too busy and the weather was at least dry. There were some lovely colours on the hills and Reggie had a great time in the lake.

Called in at Ambleside pier on the way home and the view looked very Christmasy , with the trees in the mist. Just a shame it is August.

Heavy rain again on the way back home and into the evening, but that’s why there is water in the Lakes!
