River Aare

Day 3: Route 8 bike ride
105km, 625 mètres ascent
Another great day following the River Aare. A lot of the day was spent along its banks. It changed from a fast flowing river to a gentle one. The local pastime here seems to be walking upstream for quite a long way, wearing a bathing costume, then jumping in the water and floating back down again. all ages got involved. It was a long ride again today and we were very happy to arrive at the BnB.
