Easy Sunday
I visited the dive shop today, the same centre I did my divemaster course at over 10 years ago and have so many happy memories of DM'ing there. I haven't dived now for nearly 6 years and miss it so much, going into a dive centre felt like going home. Alas, all I was going to buy was a rash vest to hopefully stop the wetsuit chafing but it made me feel very nostalgic. I'll dive again one day when the girls are older.
I tried a new recipe tonight from the Hairy Dieters vegetarian cook book. A coconut curry with kidney beans and green beans. I also made SW onion bhajis. John liked it but I thought it was a bit bland.
John stripped the bobbly paint off the wall in the downstairs toilet and we discovered a very deep crack in the wall which is a little alarming (to me anyway, he doesn't seem worried). It's not a supporting wall and so he is hoping it can simply be repaired. Worst case he will rebuild it (I really hope this wont be necessary). He is going to discuss with his colleagues tomorrow to check his thinking on it. I'm trying not to get stressed yet as this could delay the kitchen being installed as this is the wall between the kitchen and downstairs toilet.
Hammy came out for her evening cuddle which is less cuddle and more her trying every possible way to escape and burrow into the sofa. She likes to have her tummy stroked though and is very sweet.
