Violet's House

 
A wander down to the pastures below Prades.  Looking back, this wonderful view of Prades and cloouds.  There is a house hidden amongst trees, always behind locked gates, which was the house that Gustave Violet built and lived in until his death. 
 
Today the gates were open so we walked up the track to the house.  There was a couple there who live in Paris.  The wife is the great niece of “Tante Job” and inherited the house from her.  There is a small chapel – St Marti – where Tante Job was married.  Pablo Casals played at the service!
 
I wonder what is going to happen to the house.  It is not in the best of condition.
