Storm Clouds
We took a little drive to the nearby town of Dursley this morning. The prime aim was morning coffee which we achieved in the Bank Cafe situated by the Market House, which dates from 1738 and displays a statue of Queen Anne.
Nearby is the church of St James the Great dating from the 13 century, unfortunately we couldn't go in as it's only open two days a week.
After a little trip around the area we went back to the Bank for lunch then drove to the village of Uley. Apparently some of Ann's ancestors lived there, we didn't spot their tombstones in the churchyard.
Later this evening the weather changed and storm clouds gathered, thunder rumbled and it felt quite a few degrees cooler. We took a short walk down the lane, then sat in the garden pergola. We didn't get any rain, maybe that will come in the night.
Here's one of the cloud shots I took. A candidate for this week's Wide Wednesday hosted by RockArea possibly? Song Title, "Stormy Weather".
