Our neighbour keeps bees.  For the second time in recent days, they have swarmed.  The swarm drifted into our garden and eventually settled in one of our hornbeams.  This was a first for us and found it quite fascinating.  Our neighbour told us they would not sting but we maintained a very unsocial distance.  Eventually Patrick claimed the swarm for his own and we didn't have a problem with that (see extra).
