The long road

So we left Edinburgh about 11am and took the rest of the day to drive back home. We took the scenic route down to the border as it had been raining on the way up. It was worth the extra 1/2 hour or so it added to our journey time. We had glorious weather all the way and we were glad of the air con and some decent radio in the car. Right home by 7pm for some food with our daughter and time to catch up on news before the virtual pub quiz. It’s going to be a hot night - we have been lucky with the cooler weather up north. But first we need to coax our cat Milo to come in....
