Robbing the rowan
I was awake from 6 this morning....the sun streaming into the bedroom making it very warm....and the temperature continued up reaching 33 this afternoon.
I sat in the garden eating my breakfast,,hub got caught up on the phone indoors, 4 calls one after another, all relating to plans that we have made that need to be rearranged :-/
We walked down to town, called in Costa for a coffee and an early sandwich for lunch.
Whilst we were chatting a young woman passed out whilst queuing up.....the security guard on duty was brilliant, got her on her side, calmed her, down as she came too.......an ambulance was called to get her checked over, but it still hadn't arrived when we left about 20/30 mins later, but to be fair, they knew she had "come round".
Back home, such a warm and heavy heat...... so not a lot got done, bit of watering, a light tea.
There has been a couple of showers this, evening, which has cooled things down a little.
I was really pleased with this shot initially to have caught her with this berry in her beak, but when I jploaded it, slightly disappointed to see its not properly sharp :-/ mind you she was bouncing up and down on the bending branch!!! I have added a other in extras, minus the berry though ;-)
Granddaughter Olivia is having a minor op tomorrow morning to have a cyst removed on her forearm.....she will be in and out in a couple of hours, so fingers crossed.
